About the game
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric horror game in which four Survivors try to escape one Killer. Survivors repair generators to power the exit gates, rescue teammates from hooks and decide when to hide, heal or draw attention away from an objective. The Killer follows tracks and sounds, uses a unique power to pressure the team and attempts to sacrifice everyone before they can leave the trial.
A match takes place in the Entity's shifting realms, where map layouts and the order of tasks create uncertainty even for experienced players. Perks and items alter how a chase, rescue or generator repair can unfold. Survivors must read the Killer's movements while coordinating with limited information; the Killer must decide whom to pursue and which part of the map to defend. Those opposing perspectives make each trial a tense contest of time and attention.
