About the game
Mortal Shell II is a standalone dark fantasy action RPG set in a compact, interconnected world under the rule of false gods. The forgotten Shells of lost warriors are scattered through that world. Finding and possessing them changes what your character can do and gradually reveals the lives behind their armor, giving exploration a direct connection to combat and story.
Fights favor deliberate movement and tactical use of melee and ranged weapons. Different Shells, abilities and upgrades create options for breaking an enemy's posture or striking at an opening. Paths away from the main route can lead to new equipment, secrets and additional Shells. The game expands the original's central idea of borrowing another warrior's body while giving you more freedom to move through its ravaged setting.
