About the game
Species: Unknown is a cooperative survival horror game set on an abandoned ship. Teams of up to four accept dangerous missions, investigate the vessel and try to escape an unidentified creature. Each trip asks the group to decide how much risk to take for its objective.
Upgrading equipment creates new options for later missions, but it cannot remove the tension of moving through dark spaces while something hunts the team. Communication and careful exploration are as valuable as speed.
