About the game
Teamfight Tactics is Riot Games' competitive autobattler set in the League of Legends universe. Players recruit champions from a shared shop, place them on a board and watch their team fight automatically each round. Gold management, item combinations, champion upgrades and trait synergies determine how a composition grows from its first units to the final board. The strongest choice often depends on what appears in the shop and what opponents are building.
Each set introduces its own champions, traits and mechanics, giving returning players new strategies to learn. Draft rounds offer shared item and unit choices, while planning phases allow repositioning against likely opponents. Ranked play adds a climb through divisions, and alternative modes change the rhythm of a match. Teamfight Tactics is about making the most of imperfect options, balancing immediate survival against a stronger late game.
